May 27: International Day of Action against Mining and Free Trade in El Salvador

Pacific Rim and other corporations in El Salvador have been destroying the land and polluting the environment for decades with impunity, first through martial law and then through the invisible hand of trade agreements. On May 27, the Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador and others are organizing an International Day of Action against Mining and Free Trade in El Salvador.
