ALF Destroys 200 Fur Traps in Ontario

“As of March 2013 we have removed and destroyed approximately 200 fur traps in Ontario. The traps were snares and Conibears intended to murder beaver, rabbits and other innocents. Tragically we were too late for two rabbits and one raccoon, whose bodies and internal organs had already been eaten into by snares. We will be forever haunted by our memories of their bodies, we will forever continue removing traps and we encourage others to get in the bush and help smash the fur industry. Look for tell tale signs of traps and trap lines; flagging tape tied to branches, repeated tracks entering the bush, and poles or sticks protruding from bodies of water especially near beaver lodges, where trapping is frequent. Join the burgeoning ranks of trap saboteurs!

Better not have touched my traps. Eco-terrorists.

      • Mark April 24, 2013 at 4:31 am #

Show me where they are and you can watch me, but you are clearly too much of a coward.

      • mandy August 2, 2013 at 2:27 am #

Hunters disrupt the ecosystem,so WHO’S the ecoterrorist?

Btw, your traps are perfectly safe as long as you don’t leave them outside lol Seriously.

I agree with what you’re doing but killing animals is not murder

  5. Bev April 21, 2013 at 1:36 pm #

Killing wildlife is MURDER! Rather, traps are a slow and painful emotional and physical torture.
Thank you for all that you do for helping wildlife. You are Heros. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your work.

Great work ALF and not a moment too soon! Fur belongs on the animals wearing it!

Now we all need to get together to destroy the actual “Fur Farms”, like they have in China where they keep all the beautiful racoon dogs in tiny cages until their time is up! Shocking! Or the gorgeous minks, or the bunnies for lapin!!! Anybody who thinks wearing the fur of another animal is ‘cool’ needs to have their head read! Especially when there is so much ‘faux fur’ readily available! GO ALF!

YEAH! BRAVO! How about Montana, Wyoming and Idaho next – how can I help? These people need to be stopped – preferably caught in their own torture chambers. Why aren’t you guys helping the Wolves? please!

Don’t use commercially prepared, dry, or pelleted foods. Substrate: Inside of its large enclosure, water dragons need multiple branches or vines to climb and bask upon. They’re also far too small even for a
    juvenile iguana.

if you live way out in the wilderness and bush and it comes down to trapping an animal or hunting an animal to survive, YOU WOULD DO IT TO… you self righteous smug people living in cities wouldn’t last a week in the wilderness, of that I am sure… and not only that, but GOD (Jesus Christ) gave us animals to eat and use for clothing in a responsible way… I am much more in favor of just hunting and shooting the animal put a bullet through its heart and it dies instantly, no pain no suffering… and yeah I will be eating good venison stew living a LOT healthier than your vegan vegetarian paradigm diet manipulates you… that’s my 2 cents on wilderness living… like I said if you haven’t tried to live in the wilderness to get your food from nature, you really shouldn’t be commenting on any of this…. that’s the bottom line.

A pet crate has to be less massive for smaller iggy, a 20 gallon tank is sufficient
for your green iguana of 10 inches. If you teach your children about the various requirements for iguana care, then they
may find it quite fascinating to help you in your task.

Since salamanders are amphibians, they would rather choose moist and damp areas to live.

Way to go ALF…keep it up and I’ll continue on my travels too..!! Contact me if you want to start this in other states as well..I have plenty of tools and info to get rid of these asshats traps. “”Destroy a trap, save many lives””

“Defenders of Wolves” wants to send a big thank you to the ALF! Wish we could get more people to support wildlife than slaughtering it. Traps are barbaric and should be destroyed across the planet. “SNAP THE TRAP” everyone, and if you are against this, how about putting your balls in a trap and see how you like it!

if you were out in the bush and you were hungry and you met a wolfpack, and the wolves were all obvious hungry, who would eat who?? there is no eco sustainability when its face to face with survival.. nature is not this wonderful nice tidy place where everything is in harmony, there is predation and savagery, and cruel killing of one anmal eating the other animal YES to stay alive.. this is NOT complicated,

Way to go I Did this down
south in La, I’m not a vegan But I do NOT BELIEVE IN TRAPPING OR FUR FARMS
being Pagan I believe all animals are equal To Us They have the same amount to Life as we do, and We have this Plant called Cotton Which is Easley made into clothing
there is absolutely no need for fur!
Also if eating meat is nature what about Fruit and vegetables? They Come from Earth Mother So they are also healthy -_-
Some people are just to cruel and selfish To Understand Karma will Get them.

    • ted nugent has the right idea August 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm #

the earth is NOT our mother douchebag.. you come from GOD who is Jesus Christ NOT THE EARTH!!! go back to sleep and sleep on

  20. Candice Gordon August 5, 2013 at 12:06 pm #

This is wonderful news. More traps need to be destroyed and the cruel fur industry has to be shut down. Please need to stop buying fur so there will be no reason to kill these beautiful animals.
