After listing our old Cadillac on eBay 2 times and never getting any bids, we decided enough was enough and donated our car to Earth First!. We wish we would have just done this from the beginning. Not only would we have saved money from the eBay listing fees but we also could have slept better right away knowing that old Caddy was used to block Keystone XL equipment from getting to the job site. We just drove the car out there in the middle of the night, pulled off the wheels and sunk it in 3 feet of dirt with the help of some friends. You made all of this very easy and we thank you. My accountant suggested I donate my old Hummer2 that I no longer used and you made this whole experience incredibly easy. I called in the morning and by 6 the next night I received directions to an access road to the proposed site of a mine! My accountant said that doing this saved the ELF from torching it later. What a relief.

I gotta testimonial for you. You’ll get my truck outta my cold dead hands. I use this baby, which gots a pair of truck nuts like you wouldn’t believe, like big ole manly man truck nuts, for runnin hippies over. “Here hippy hippies, here some organic diesel and fair trade Firestone tires for yo ass!” Thats the last thing’ll be heard.
I don’t think this kind of charity is necessarily. Now with Obama president we can all rest easier. Fracking, clear cuts, the war in Afghanistan, all those things are now memories only. This is a new era. Earth First! should simply lobby the president. I can’t imagine any value in using an old buick in a roadblock which would only block hope and possibly change. We don’t need that.
